These works are playing with the viewer`s comfort zone and cliches on art. The inverted photographs used for the works are blurring glimpses from "glamourous" life, and "magazine-style reality" and approaching the beauty of the imperfect.
Mixed with different upcycled materials, the "Scancelli" creates a weird nostalgic atmosphere, a sense of fragmented reality, where self-irony is mixed with pure admiration for the idea of eternal beauty and the melancholy of its impossibility.
