Sasun Margaryan
Sasun Margaryan is a sculptor whose works distill cosmic narratives into intimate forms. In his piece Resident in the Settlement, an asymmetric shape hovers above a river stone, evoking a spirit rising from the riverbed—a reminder of the stardust within us and the echoes of the Big Bang. His sculptures, though modest in scale, resonate with profound themes, bridging the primordial with the present.
Margaryan's artistic journey includes participation in notable exhibitions, such as the 25th Annual Festival of Alternative Art in 2021 and the 2022 group exhibition We Left the Group at HayArt Cultural Center . In 2024, his work was featured in Moving the Center at the Vanadzor Fine Arts Museum, part of the "How to Survive as an Emerging Artist" program .NPAKdianedermarkarian.comInstitute for contemporary Art
Born in 1987 in Abovyan, Armenia, Margaryan's sculptures serve as meditative anchors, inviting viewers to reflect on the interconnectedness of existence. Through his art, he explores the delicate balance between the tangible and the ethereal, the ancient and the contemporary.
